Untitled Mandala no. 64 (The Dance of the Peacock)

This mandala resembles a peacock dancing on ochre earth. It takes the viewer on a journey through shapes, starting from the centre point and proceeding clockwise. Here, patterns are the protagonist (main character), which form and break at just the right place. This creates the illusion of spiralling outward from the centre to the periphery or the border. The curves soften and angles sharply direct the movement of the eye, mimicking the dance of the majestic peacock.
